The leader position was maintained by Spain, the defending champion of the Old Continent, while Germany, defeated in the semi-finals, jumped to second place, surpassing Uruguay. England found itself in fourth place, and Portugal, surpassing five teams, in fifth. Brazil experienced perhaps the biggest blow, falling from the top ten to 11th place. The Lithuanian national team lost two positions and dropped to 90th place. Meanwhile, Greece, the future opponents of our team in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, rose to 12th place, Bosnia and Herzegovina dropped to 30th place, Slovakia to 44th, Latvia, which is four places higher than last month, to 72nd, and Liechtenstein to 149th.
