"Montreal Impact" officially announced that they have signed a contract with veteran Alessandro Nesta.
Due to the terms of the deal between the club and MLS league, details are not disclosed.
"I am very happy. Although I had several offers from Europe, I was looking for new challenges and wanted to test my skills in the MLS championship. When I visited Montreal and met my friend representing the team, Marco di Vaio, I met many wonderful people and I was convinced that I would like to compete here," said the 36-year-old defender, who played 417 matches in the Serie A league.
