Pep Guardiola's agent denies media reports that the famous Spaniard could become the new coach of the Russian national team.
It was reported that this weekend the former Barcelona coach will visit Moscow and hold negotiations, but according to his representative, Guardiola is peacefully living in the United States and has no intention of going anywhere.
"Pep has not received an offer from Russia. I don't understand where these reports are coming from. At the moment, he is in New York with his family and plans to stay there until the end of the year," said Josep Maria Orobitgas.
The leaders of the Russian national team are looking for a replacement after the withdrawal from the European Championship by Dick Advocaat. One of the main candidates to replace him is the Italian Luciano Spalletti.
