Luka Modric has agreed to a four-year contract with the Madrid club, the English press reports.
However, although the 26-year-old London attack organizer does not hide his desire to leave the team, negotiations are complicated because the capital team leaders are not willing to compromise.
It is said that for the Croatian, Tottenham is demanding at least 44 million euros from Real, while the Spanish champions are willing to pay a much lower amount of 35 million euros.
"Luka has reached an agreement with Real on all conditions. The only problem is Tottenham's position, which complicates the negotiations. But ultimately everything will be resolved," Daily Mirror quotes an unnamed source.
Last season in the Premier League, Modric played 36 matches and scored four goals. He also made four assists, but the team did not secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
