During the NFKA general meeting held on April 8th, it was decided that players, their family members, and club officials would be obligated in writing not to participate in football betting pools, announces the NFKA statement.

Club management, players, and club officials will be warned that any cases of bribery involving players of club teams, as well as any organization of match-fixing or player bribery by a club (club representatives, players, or third parties associated with that club and their leaders), will result in the removal from the top Lithuanian football league. NFKA will prepare a resolution on this issue to be presented at the next meeting.

During the general meeting, two new members were admitted to the NFKA board - representatives of FK "Šiauliai" and Kėdainių "Nevėžio".

All 10 NFKA members and the President of the Lithuanian Football Federation, L. Varanavičius, attended the general meeting.
