Legendary Brazilian national team striker urges compatriot Neymar to move to Europe to play.
The talent from São Paulo's "Santos" is considered one of the most promising football players in the world. Interest has been shown in him by teams such as London's "Chelsea," Madrid's "Real," and "Barcelona," but so far he has rejected the opportunity to go play for one of the big European clubs.
Ronaldo insists that 20-year-old Neymar should be ready to leave his homeland: "Lionel Messi is currently the best player in the world. Neymar is on the right path, but he still lacks a bit, and a couple of successful seasons in Europe would help fill those gaps."
The 35-year-old Ronaldo, who ended his career last year due to health problems, moved to Europe from "Cruzeiro" at just 18 years old. He initially wore the shirt of Eindhoven's PSV, and later represented "Barcelona," Milan's "Inter," "Real," and "Milan" clubs. Finally, he hung up his boots with his hometown team "Corinthians."
