Although there is still a month and a half left until the start of the season, the Munich club has sold all season tickets for eighteen matches of the German championship at the "Allianz" stadium.
Out of the 69 thousand seats in the arena, over half - 39,500, were dedicated to season tickets, which were sold out in just a few weeks.
"I thank the fans for their great interest," said Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "It shows what great fans our team has."
In the last two years, Bayern has not won trophies, but has achieved excellent financial results. The club has been profitable for nineteen consecutive seasons. In addition, by 2020, the debts for the new stadium construction will be paid off, so the revenues of the German team will increase by 20 million euros annually.
