The first match in Lithuania ended with a 1-0 victory for the Latvians.
The fate of the "Šiauliai" team turned out much sadder - Gediminas Jarmalavičius' players defeated "Levadia" 2-1 on their home ground, but were forced to bid farewell to the tournament due to a missed goal.
