Club agreed to sell striker Fabio Borini for 14 million euros. It is expected that formalities will be sorted out this weekend, reports "Liverpool Echo".
In the near future, the Italian will arrive in Liverpool, where he will undergo a medical examination and sign the contract. He will become the first purchase of new coach Brendan Rodgers.
The strategist has already worked with Borini: at the beginning of his career, he wore the shirt of London's "Chelsea", and in the 2010-2011 season, he was loaned to the "Swansea" team, which was coached by Rodgers.
Last season, the striker scored ten goals in 26 matches and participated in the European Championship. However, he did not appear in the Italian national team lineup.
