Lithuanian national team defender Deividas Šemberas is leaving Moscow's CSKA and moving to another Russian club Vladikavkaz "Alania". The 33-year-old footballer signed a two-year contract with the team, which returned to the highest league in Russia. He has been representing Moscow's team since 2002. "I spent more than ten years at CSKA, which, I can confidently say, were the happiest years of my life," said Šemberas. "Although leaving the team is very difficult, I will always feel like a part of it." Last season, the Lithuanian was no longer a solid player in the starting lineup - out of 29 matches, he appeared 11 times. Šemberas played a total of 254 matches and scored one goal for the army team. He won the Russian championship three times, the country's cup six times, and also triumphed in the UEFA Cup tournament in 2005. The former defender of Vilnius "Žalgiris" and Moscow "Dynamo" has represented the Lithuanian national team 76 times so far.
