The club bought Verona's "Chievo" defender Michael Bradley for 3.75 million euros. In addition, according to the deal, the selling side received half of the rights to Romanian Adrian Stoian.
The 24-year-old American arrived at "Chievo" last season from German side Borussia Mönchengladbach and scored one goal in 34 matches in the Serie A.
He has already joined his new teammates who are preparing for the season in Riscone di Brunico.
Bradley became the fifth purchase of "Roma" this summer after Jonathan Lucca from "Internacional", defender Dodo from "Corinthians", Brazilian midfielder Marquinho from "Fluminense", forward Tallo also from "Chievo", and Lithuanian goalkeeper Tomas Švedkauskas.
