In the Italian "Serie A" championship on Sunday, seven matches of the 30th round were played. "Udinese" maintained the fourth place in the league after playing a draw with "Roma", important victories were also achieved by the "Lazio" and "Parma" clubs, while "Atalanta" climbed from the last position.
"Roma", currently in seventh place, needed to defeat "Udinese" away in order to return to the fight for a spot in the next season's Champions League, however, despite dominating the opponents for a long time, the hosts managed to equalize the score twice and secured a draw.
"Sampdoria" remains in fifth place after playing a draw with "Cagliari" away, while the sixth position is held by the "Palermo" club, who defeated "Messina" in a tense Sicilian derby.
"Lazio" rose to the middle of the tournament table after easily defeating Tomo Danilevičius' "Livorno" 3-1 at home. "Parma" also achieved a crucial victory away by winning 3-1 against "Reggina". "Atalanta" crushed "Chievo" at home and climbed from the last position after a long break, while the match between "Lecce" and "Siena" ended in a draw.
