Menchengladbach's "Borussia" acquired Twente's forward Luuk de Jong for about 15 million euros.
The 21-year-old footballer successfully passed a medical examination and signed a five-year contract.
"We are very pleased that the deal has finally happened," said sports director Max Eberl. "Luuk will soon join the team."
Over the past two seasons in the Dutch championship, he played 75 matches and scored 39 goals. He also played seven matches for the Dutch national team.
