This weekend's Russian "Premier" League round presented more than one surprise. The main unexpected result was recorded in Tomsk, where the local "Tom" team defeated the league leader Zenit from St. Petersburg with a score of 2-0. Despite the loss, Zenit still remains in first place.
Inspired by the success in the UEFA Cup match, Moscow's "CSKA", which included D. Šemberas, crushed Samara's "Krylja Sovetov" 5-0 with R.Poškus in the lineup. Although the relentless Lithuanian national team forward tried to help "Krylja Sovetov", he did not succeed and his team suffered a humiliating defeat.
Finally, the Vladikavkaz "Alania" team is slowly waking up, earning their first point in a match against "Shinnik" with the help of N.Barasa and D.Žutautas.
