"Manchester United" defender Darren Fletcher has denied reports that he may end his sporting career due to an incurable illness. The 28-year-old Scot has been suffering from a chronic bowel condition for many months and played only 10 matches for the club last season. Although team manager Alex Ferguson hinted that Fletcher will likely hang up his boots, the player himself is not ready to give up. "This is not the end, I want to continue playing. I know that one day I will come back, I am only 28 years old and I push away all thoughts of retirement", said the defender.
