AS and Marca report that Tottenham's midfielder Luka Modrić is putting in all efforts to sign a contract with Real Madrid as soon as possible.
According to the press, the 26-year-old Croatian met with Tottenham's manager Andre Villas-Boas and personally expressed that he no longer wants to represent the Spurs team.
The Spanish champions have long agreed on the personal contract details with L. Modrić, but the two clubs cannot agree on the transfer fee - the English team wants at least £35 million, while Real Madrid is trying to lower the asking price.
