London strategist Andre Villas Boas got angry with goalkeeper Luka Modric, who refused to travel with the team for the preseason tour in the United States.

The Croatian national team footballer, who was fined for this, does not hide his desire to leave the club. He is particularly interested in Real Madrid and Manchester United.

"I think Modric is behaving unfairly," Villas Boas said. "This will turn against him. With his actions, the player has worsened the situation and angered both me and the team leaders."

In 2008, Modric arrived in England from Zagreb's Dinamo for 21 million euros and scored four goals in 36 matches last season.
