The investigation into the betting scandal that erupted this summer in Italy, also known as "Scommessopoli," continues. Involved in the scandal are the head coach of Turin's "Juventus," Antonio Conte, defender Leonardo Bonucci, and midfielder Simone Pepe.

All three of them face different penalties ranging from a three-month suspension to three years.

At the end of last season, A. Conte was accused of knowing about illegal bets while he was the head coach of the "Siena" team. After a recent interrogation, the coach was acquitted, but now charges have been filed against him for not reporting illegal betting activities to the authorities. S. Pepe is also accused of knowing about corruption while playing for "Udinese" but not informing the authorities.

If the charges are proven, both of them could face a suspension ranging from three to six months.

The biggest punishment looms over L. Bonucci, who is accused of directly participating in illegal betting activities while playing for the "Bari" team. He could face a suspension of up to three years.

These investigations will not affect the "Juventus" club. The court hearings are set to begin on August 2nd.
