Alberto Aquilani is leaving Liverpool and in the near future will move to a club for 9 million euros.
The 28-year-old footballer, along with the team, recently visited the United States, but has recently left for Italy to finalize the details of the deal.
In 2009, Aquilani arrived at Liverpool from the "Roma" team for almost 24 million euros, but failed to establish himself in the main lineup and spent the last two seasons on loan to other clubs.
Although this summer Liverpool has a new manager in Brendan Rodgers, there is no place for the Italian in his plans. It is believed that Aquilani could replace the young Swansea midfielder Joe Allen.
