London's executive director Ron Gourlay insists that the club should be supplemented by several new footballers this summer.
The Champions League winners have been very active in the transfer market this offseason, already acquiring such players as Eden Hazard, Thorgan Hazard, Marko Marin, and Oscar for an impressive sum of almost 83 million euros.
Nevertheless, they are still looking for replacements for Didier Drogba in the attack and Jose Bosingwa in defense. Both of these players have left the team.
"We ended last season very successfully, but we clearly saw that there were weak spots in the squad," said Gourlay. "If the opportunity arises, we will acquire several more footballers. We are looking at one or two positions."
It is rumored that Chelsea is eyeing Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, valued at 40 million euros, as well as Wigan striker Victor Moses, priced at around 10 million euros, and Marseille defender Cesar Azpilicueta.
