It was agreed to lend striker Andy Carroll to the London club for 2.56 million euros, BBC reports. However, later this information was denied by the clubs.
According to earlier reports, the deal would also include a condition that at the end of the season the capital team would buy the footballer for an additional almost 22 million euros if they maintained their place in the English Premier League.
However, negotiations are stalled by the fact that Carroll himself is not inclined to move to West Ham.
The 'Reds' striker joined the club in early 2011, when he was purchased from Newcastle for a record 45 million euros. However, he failed to perform well: in 56 matches, the Englishman scored only eleven goals.
However, at the end of last season, his athletic form began to improve noticeably, but this, it seems, did not convince the new team manager Brendan Rodgers.
