"Sao Paulo" vice president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes confirmed that the reports about the sale of the attacking midfielder Lucas Moura to the Milan "Inter" team are incorrect.
The 19-year-old Brazilian is one of the most sought-after players in the off-season, with both Real Madrid and Manchester United actively interested in him.
"In the past, we have had negotiations with the team from Man Utd, but their offer was too low," said the manager.
On Thursday, various press reports indicated that "Sao Paulo" had agreed to sell the player to the "Serie A" club for 27 million euros.
