In the Lithuanian Football A League match in Vilnius, local team "Žalgiris" and Marijampolė's "Sūduva" shared a point. The match ended in a 2:2 tie, even though Marijampolė took the lead with two goals in the first half. "Žalgiris" saved the game in the final minutes.

After Ričardas Beniušis scored two goals in the first half, Marijampolė's "Sūduva" led for most of the game, but were unable to withstand the late surge from Žalgiris, inspired by two fantastic goals from Kamil Bilinskis.

The game started calmly with both teams focusing on defense and observing their opponents. It wasn't until a third of the first half had passed that more active actions in the attack were taken.

A dangerous attack in the 15th minute could have been created by Rafaelis Ledesma, who broke through several Žalgiris defenders with a great run, but the Brazilian forward made a poor decision and took a very inaccurate long shot.

Žalgiris had their first chance to score in the 26th minute. Andro Švrljuga ran into the penalty area and received a great pass from his teammate, but he couldn't beat Sūduva goalkeeper Pavel Davidov from a sharp angle.

The hosts continued to look for ways to score, creating several dangerous attacks. However, it was the visitors who scored first.

Rafaelis Ledesma took a long, powerful shot in the 35th minute. Žalgiris goalkeeper Armantas Vitkauskas deflected it right in front of him. Richard Beniušis quickly redirected it into the goal.

After missing the goal, Žalgiris had chances to equalize from the efforts of Ramūnas Radavičius and Calum Elliott, but their dangerous shots from close range didn't find the target.

In added time at the end of the first half, the Sūduva players found another chance and took advantage. Rafaelis Ledesma provided a great pass to Richard Beniušis, who scored his second goal into an empty net.

In the second half, Sūduva gave the initiative to Žalgiris from the beginning. The hosts tried to take advantage of this and launched several attacks.

The hosts managed to reduce the deficit only in the 82nd minute. Ramūnas Radavičius broke away from the goalkeeper and his shot was saved by Pavel Davidovas. However, Kamil Bilinskis quickly headed the rebound into the net.

In added time, Žalgiris launched another attack, with Kamil Bilinskis scoring another goal.

After the goal, players from both teams got involved in a skirmish. Sergejus Loginovas and Luka Peričius received red cards.
