Jose Mourinho says that the squad for the upcoming season in Madrid is practically formed.
The 49-year-old coach hopes that his players will continue the successful work they started last season, winning the Spanish championship and collecting a record-breaking 100 points.
"We are intensively preparing for the new battles because we know it will be very difficult," said Mourinho. "The team is almost formed. We have special footballers who can boldly be called the best in the world."
Mourinho did not hide that one of the main goals will be to win the UEFA Champions League: "There is a lot of talk about this tournament, but our task is to win trophies. In my opinion, winning the national championship with a record number of points is extremely difficult and unique."
The first match of the new season for "Real" will be at home on August 18 against "Valencia."
