On Tuesday, London officially announced the acquisition of "Malaga" midfielder Santi Cazorla. Less than 19 million euros were paid for the 27-year-old footballer.
Cazorla, recognized as one of the best midfielders in Spain last season, scored nine goals in 38 matches.
The English team also hopes to soon finalize a deal with Nuri Sahin. The Turkish national team's playmaker will be borrowed from Real Madrid.
This summer, "Arsenal" is actively working in the transfer market and has already acquired two forwards: Lukas Podolski who represents the German national team and Olivier Giroud who shined in the French championship.
However, it is still unclear whether Robin van Persie will remain in the team, as he recently announced that he will not renew his contract which ends next year. The Dutchman is actively being followed by Manchester United.
