The official website of the team announced that the club has rented Cristian Zapata, who wore the shirt last season.

The 25-year-old Colombian national team player returns to Italy after a 12-month break - before that, the center-back defended the honor of the Udinese team for six years.

After the season, the capital's team will have the opportunity to buy Zapata's contract from the "Yellow Submarines", who were forced to say goodbye to the highest Spanish league in the spring.

"Zapata will help us in the center of defense and in the wing positions. With his arrival, our window for transfers is almost closed," said Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri.

It is also clear that neither Edin Dzeko nor Carlos Tevez will join the Italian club, as the Colombian will take the last available spot in the team reserved for a player without a European Union passport.
