The London club, returning to the English Premier League after a year's break, continues its squad-building work - they have added midfielder Alou Diarra to the team.

The transfer fee for the 31-year-old French national team member has not been disclosed, and the player has signed a three-year contract.

Diarra has worn the jerseys of Munich's Bayern, Liverpool, Lens, Lyon, and Bordeaux during his career.
