The general director of Juventus, Giuseppe Marotta, confirmed talks about the ongoing negotiations for the acquisition of Bilbao leader Fernando Llorente.
It is no secret that the Italian champions are looking to strengthen their attacking department with a top-class player, and currently they are focusing on the forward from the Spanish national team.
"We have started negotiations for Llorente, but they are difficult because Athletic does not want to sell him," noted Marotta.
On Monday, the situation will become clearer, as the Basque club will hold a press conference.
The characteristics of the 28-year-old forward perfectly match the requirements of Juventus head coach Antonio Conte, who is looking for a tall, technical, and agile forward.
Llorente's contract with Athletic expires next summer. At the moment, the Spaniard is valued at 20 million euros.
