After returning to the team following the just concluded London Olympic Games, midfielder Tomas Cleverley feels 100 percent ready for the new season.
The 23-year-old footballer was one of the main players of the Great Britain national team along with Ryan Giggs, but the hosts were defeated by South Korea in the quarterfinals.
"I was separated from the team for a few weeks, so it was nice to return and play in a good stadium next to top-class footballers," Cleverley said.
"I think the Olympic Games were beneficial for me. I played six games, two of which were friendly, so I feel 100% good. I am happy and looking forward to the new season."
