The final decision not to sell the young team striker Cristian Tello this summer was announced on Thursday by the newspaper "Sport.es".
The Catalan club would like to sign a new contract with the 21-year-old forward and then calmly discuss the player's future prospects.
According to reports, "Barcelona" refuses to sell Tello and apparently does not intend to loan the forward to other teams, despite rumors that the player could join a team in England or Spain.
"A new contract has not yet been signed. We need to agree on some aspects," said Tello's agent Jose Maria Orobitgas after meeting with "Barcelona" officials.
It is planned that the second meeting between the agent and the negotiators of the Catalan team will take place on Friday. According to "Sport.es", the only thing that could change the time and date of the meeting is if "Barça" negotiators continue to negotiate with "Arsenal" for the acquisition of Cameroonian Alex Song.
