Great enthusiasm of "Man Utd" fans ahead of the new English Premier League season was dampened already on Monday, in the 1st round match.
Shinji Kagawa made an appearance in the starting eleven, and Robin van Persie came onto the field as a substitute, but the "Red Devils" were forced to acknowledge the superiority of Liverpool's Everton with a narrow 1-0 result in the away game.
The only goal was scored by an excellent player.
