Even three English Premier League clubs - Liverpool, Tottenham from London, and Sunderland are seeking to acquire Manchester City's midfielder Adam Johnson.
The 25-year-old footballer played only ten matches in the starting lineup in the national championship last season, so it is likely that he will be sold this summer.
So far, only Sunderland has made a concrete offer, but the other two teams have also shown interest. It is said that all three are willing to pay around 12 million euros for Johnson.
"I see Adam's future here, but it needs to be understood that a 23 or 24-year-old player always wants to play, " said Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini. "And in an elite team, there are no guarantees, so if he expresses a desire, he can leave. Of course, it would be a shame, because Johnson is a great guy."
