The club officially acquired striker Emmanuel Adebayor for approximately 6 million euros.
The footballer from Togo was loaned to the capital team last season and scored 18 goals in 37 matches. In order to sign a long-term contract, he decided to significantly reduce his weekly salary of 215 thousand euros.
"Tottenham, I'm coming! I'm hungry for goals, so get ready!" Adebayor wrote on a social network.
"I am happy to finally sign a long-term contract. The negotiations took longer than we expected, but everything ended successfully. I enjoyed the past season and believe that we will achieve great results."
