What is Lithuania's image in the world of football? What do other countries know about us? What is the media opinion about our football? These questions arose after the editorial office of lrytas.lt received a letter from a journalist from a Romanian portal.

Arriving for the Europa League qualifying match between Bucharest's "Steaua" and Panevezys' "Ekrano," the journalist was convinced that for the past couple of years, Lithuanian champions, coached by Valdas Urbonas, have been involved in a match-fixing scandal.

The Romanian in Lithuania is looking for information on arranged matches, bribed referees, and other actions tarnishing football.

"There are only a few VIP seats at the LFF Stadium. The media work table and guest changing rooms resemble Romanian schools," - is written on one of the Romanian portals.

The match between Panevezys' "Ekrano" and Bucharest's "Steaua" - on Thursday at 19:45.
