"Valencia" has acquired the left-back defender Aly Cissokho from "Lyon" for approximately 6 million euros. The 24-year-old footballer will still have to undergo a medical examination, after which a four-year contract will be signed. "Aly is a player with a lot of international competition experience, surpassing his age," said "Valencia" sporting director Braulio Vazquez. "He has represented the French national team, as well as regularly participating in tournaments such as the Champions League. "Cissokho is a physically strong, powerful defender who will undoubtedly increase competition for a place on the field. This purchase completed the strengthening of a strong team, now we hope for good results." This summer, "Valencia" added newcomers such as defender Joao Pereira, midfielders Fernando Gago, Sergio Canales, Andres Guardado, and Jonathan Viera, as well as forward Nelson Valdez.
