London strategist Arsene Wenger admitted that he would like to acquire at least one more footballer before the end of the transfer window.
After selling striker Robin van Persie, the capital team did not score a single goal in the first two matches of the English Premier League. The weekend match against Stoke ended in a 0-0 draw.
"We were always dangerous, but we couldn't finish our attacks. We need to work so that we perform better in the final third of the pitch," said Wenger.
He added: "We are active, so we expect to do this and that in the market."
This summer, Arsenal has already added midfielder Santi Cazorla, strikers Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski to their ranks.
