London's team official website announced that the club has acquired the midfielder Mousa Dembele from another capital team for an undisclosed fee.

The press sources report that the "Spurs" paid around £15 million for the 25-year-old Belgian national team player, who is supposed to replace Luka Modric, who left for Real Madrid.

After successfully passing a two-part medical examination, the player was actively sought after by London clubs Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

The attacking midfielder Dembele arrived at Fulham in the summer of 2010 from AZ Alkmaar for £5 million.

The duration of the contract with Tottenham is undisclosed.
