London's Fulham club hopes to sign a contract with Man Utd striker Dimitar Berbatov in the near future.

The 31-year-old footballer left the 'Red Devils' four years ago for 35 million euros, but now the deal will be much lower - only about 6 million euros.

Berbatov was on the verge of moving to Italy's Fiorentina, but at the last minute he changed his mind and decided to stay in London for family reasons.

Last season the Bulgarian lost his place in the main Man Utd lineup and only played 12 games, starting in 5 of them. However, he managed to score seven goals.
