The president of the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) Julius Kvedaras, who has been suspended from his duties, along with a former EBSW member, tried to involve the Kaunas municipality in a scandal. They tried to obtain millions worth of market shares for several buildings.
Impudence is astounding
According to "Kauno diena," J. Kvedaras claimed not to know the CEO of "Corporate Property Holding" (CPH), Arūnas Vilkėnas, but the letter sent to the Kaunas city municipality bears the signatures of LFF President J. Kvedaras and A. Vilkėnas. The two "strangers" presented an official proposal to the Kaunas municipality to exchange the former "Inkaro" stadium for 51% of the shares of "Stoties turgus."
(...)Currently, the municipality is preparing once again to try to sell 51% of the shares of "Stoties Turgus." The price is not yet known, but a few years ago, in an auction, one company offered 9 million litas. The procedure for the sale of shares stalled due to legal disputes.
