Refuting reports that "Barcelona" players demand stewardesses © EuroFootball.com

The airline "Turkish Airlines" denied information that appeared in the Turkish media a few days ago, claiming that "Barcelona" supposedly requested that only stewardesses serve the players on the plane.

According to the publication "Airporthaber", this Catalan club got fed up when stewardesses flying with the team on airplanes constantly disturb the football players with conversations about football, do not allow them to relax, ask for autographs, grab jerseys or other clothing.

It was said that the most attention from the airline staff allegedly receives two "Barcelona" superstars - Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta.

However, a representative of "Turkish Airlines" interviewed by the Spanish news agency "EFE" just shrugged.

"We have not received any requests or demands from "Barcelona" regarding changing the serving staff on the planes flying them," said the company's representative in Ankara, Ali Genc.

"Turkish Airlines" became the official sponsor of the Catalan club two years ago and flew the team to Champions League matches.
