London's "Chelsea" defender David Luiz has signed a new five-year contract with the club.
The 25-year-old footballer has long been linked with a move to the "Barcelona" team, but with this decision he confirmed his desire to continue playing in the English Premier League.
"I represent a great team and I want to win even more trophies with them," said Luiz. "I especially love the fans, who warmly welcomed me and always supported me."
He arrived in London in January 2011 from Lisbon's "Benfica" for more than 25 million euros.
