M.Moratti: Milan clubs are no longer elite © EuroFootball.com

Owner of Milan's "Inter" club Massimo Moratti no longer believes that the clubs led by him, "Inter" or "Milan", can still be considered one of the best in Europe.

Watching the poor start of the season for these clubs, M. Moratti concluded that their glory is in the past: "Inter" and "Milan" no longer have super teams."

However, the club president supports the young "Inter" coach Andrea Stamaccioni. After the 0-2 loss to the Siena team, M. Moratti was not in a bad mood: "Yes, the match on Sunday was poor. We should have won against the Siena club. A. Stamaccioni is competent and we have many good players. Unfortunately, we can no longer afford to buy the best players for 20 million euros."

"Inter" currently ranks seventh in Serie A and is trailing leaders "Juventus" by 6 points. "Milan" is in 15th place and has only earned 3 points.
