John Terry, who insulted Anton Ferdinand in a racist way, will have to miss four matches and pay an impressive almost 280 thousand euros fine.
After conducting an investigation, the English Football Association decided to punish the London "Chelsea" defender, even though in July Westminster Magistrates' Court acquitted him of the same charges.
In a press release, Terry insisted that he was disappointed, as the FA decision did not match the court's ruling. He also requested a written explanation.
Earlier, the Englishman admitted to calling Anton Ferdinand "black" and swearing, but added that he only said what he heard from his black colleague about himself.
