Cristiano Ronaldo's desire to become the highest-paid footballer in the world has sparked rumors about his future at Real Madrid. The situation is complicated by strict Spanish laws - due to financial problems, Real Madrid has to pay a whopping 52% tax on the impressive team leader's salary. Just a few years ago, this percentage was only 24%.
Therefore, there are rumors that the wealthy clubs like Chelsea, Man City, and PSG in London will try to take advantage of the situation and potentially make C.Ronaldo the world's most expensive player.
