Round 32: "Milan" restores dualism with the help of "Inter" © EuroFootball.com

On Wednesday evening, all 32nd round matches were played in the Italian championship, with the exception that even seven matches ended in a draw, and the only victory at home was achieved by the country's champions "Milan", who won against "Chievo" and thanks to "Inter" victory against "Juventus" restored the dualism in the league.

In the "Italian derby", Milan's Inter did a favor to their city neighbors, defeating the Turin Juventus team that led the championship before this round. After playing 15 minutes, the hosts were unlucky when the ball struck the crossbar after a header by Emerson, and in the middle of the second half, the visitors took the lead after J. Cruz's accurate header.

After the break, the Turin team pressed their opponents and tried to equalize the result. The most active in the ranks of "Juventus" was Z. Ibrahimović, but one of his shots missed completely the target, and later "Inter" goalkeeper F. Toldo saved the goal twice. The visitors won a narrow victory, which is actually not as important for themselves as for their neighbors in the fight for the title.

The "Milan" club took advantage of this excellent opportunity to eliminate the three-point deficit in their characteristic style at home after the only goal in the middle of the second half, defeating the "Chievo" team. The winning goal was scored by Dutch midfielder C. Seedorf.

"Siena" achieved a second unexpected victory in a row, defeating the crisis-ridden "Roma" team at their home, which was already their second consecutive failure at home stadium. "Fiorentina" also did not emerge from the "pit", conceding a goal in the last minute at home and playing a draw against "Messina".

"Lazio" also snatched a point away, behind against "Cagliari" who played at home, but scoring in the last moments of the match. The meeting between "Palermo" and "Brescia" was particularly prolific and eventful, ending in a 3-3 draw. In the ranks of the visitors, once again one of the best players throughout the match was Lithuanian M. Stankevičius, although at the end of the first half he missed a good chance to score.

"Livorno" played a draw with "Udinese" away, not conceding a goal in a 1-1 draw, as did "Parma" with "Sampdoria" and "Lecce" with "Bologna", while there were no goals scored in the match between "Reggina" and "Atalanta".
