In Group B, Madrid's "Atletico" beat "Plzen" 1-0.
In Group D, "Newcastle United" crushed "Girondins" 3-0 at home.
In Group F, "Napoli" lost 0-3 away to "PSV". Even eight players from the "Serie A" team were punished with yellow cards.
