In the Homeless World Cup, the Lithuanian team won two victories over the weekend. Lithuanians at the "Homeless World Cup 2012” championship in Mexico defeated the defending champions Scotland 5:4 after a penalty shootout.

In other matches, the Lithuanian footballers defeated the team from Peru 6:3.

The Lithuanians are competing in Group D along with Greece, Scotland, Peru, and Indonesia.
