Italian press reports that Antonio Cassano will no longer play for his country's national team.
Indeed, this decision was made not by the footballer himself, but by the national team's coach Cesare Prandelli.
Corriere della Sera reports that the coach was not impressed by the 30-year-old striker's performance in the ranks of Milan's "Inter".
A. Cassano is described as a player causing many problems, with whom one needs to "work extra hard".
The striker's exclusion from the Italian national team did not surprise goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon either.
"This decision certainly did not come out of the blue", said the veteran.
