In the World Cup qualifying match in Group C, the Swedish national team, trailing 0-4 against the Germans, managed to demonstrate courage and fighting spirit as they fought back in the last seconds to secure a dramatic draw - 4-4.
Joachim Low's players scored three goals without response in the first half (M. Klose 8 and 15 minutes, P. Mertesacker 39 minutes), and M. Ozil further extended the lead in the 56th minute.
However, the Swedes did not give up - soon Z. Ibrahimovic and M. Lustig reduced the gap (62 and 64 minutes), and J. Elmander and R. Elmas were able to snatch the equalizer (76 and 90 minutes).
These two teams currently lead Group C - Germany has 10 points, while Sweden has 7 points.
