The tourism sector employees are pleased that the ranks of English football fans are growing - in 2010, 750 thousand people came to watch football.
The matches of "Manchester United" and "Liverpool" teams were the most popular among tourists. Also, a lot of attention was drawn to the games of London clubs such as "Arsenal," "Chelsea," and "Tottenham Hotspur."
A study of statistical data revealed that the majority of football-loving tourists who came to the Premier League were from Ireland (174 thousand), Norway (80 thousand), the US (61 thousand), Spain (54 thousand), and Germany (48 thousand).
